Terms of Use

1. What the service does

You upload a PDF bank or card statement. AI models read the transactions on each page, our software checks them against the balances and totals printed on the statement where it can, lists the charges that repeat, and lets you download the rows as Excel, CSV, JSON or XML.

2. Accuracy: please check the results

• Transactions are read by AI, which can make mistakes: a wrong amount, date or description, or a missed or duplicated row.
• Each result shows whether it agreed with the balances and totals printed on your statement. Some statements print nothing to check against, and a check that passes does not prove that every row is right.
• Recurring charges are detected from those rows and are suggestions. A listed charge may not be a subscription, and a subscription may be missed.
• Check the results against your statement before you rely on them, for example in your accounts, a tax return or a decision about a payment.
• The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee that results are complete, accurate or error-free.

3. Not financial advice

StatementConvert.ai reports what appears in your statement. It does not give financial, tax, accounting or legal advice. What you do with the results is your decision.

4. Your statements

• Upload only statements that are yours or that you are allowed to process.
• Statements are processed in memory and not stored by us. The Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled, including by the AI providers we use.
• Do not use the service to break the law, to overload it, or to get around its page allowances.

5. Plans and billing

• Each plan includes a number of statement pages per month, shown on the pricing section.
• Paid plans renew automatically and are billed through Stripe.
• You can manage or end your subscription at any time from your Account page.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses caused by relying on results you did not check, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
